What really bothers me about WhatsApp is that it doesn’t allow you to view your contacts easily. You would have to start a new conversation in order to view them. I solved this by implementing a side bar for quick access to contacts. I made it easier for users to sort their conversations by creating a pinned list where users pick whichever conversations they would like to appear at the top of their list. I allow users to choose between Chats and Groups which allows them to access their conversations easier.
